Incidence of tactical formations on the results of soccer matches played at altitude

Background: The Ecuadorian Professional Soccer League is a tournament that has teams reside in cities at altitude and sea level, for such reason the applied tactical formations differ with objective of achieving positive result when encounter ends. Objective: To determine incidence effectiveness results soccer matches played altitudes between 2500 3250 meters above level. Method: Non-experimental quantitative study correlational approach, sample 123 2020 2021 under these conditions, analyzed through Instat Scout platform opinion experts to visiting residing taking into account points goals obtained. Results: There were no differences means scored conceded by formation; however, descriptive there was evidence greater 4-3-3 formation due number relation higher mean lower conceded; statistically, high correlation 1-3-4-3 significance level P<0.01. Conclusion: data obtained shows use line 4 defenders obtain better comparison only 3 defenders, being 1-4-3-3-3 one contrast 1-3-5-2 worst results.
